TRANSPORT FROM HEATHROW AIRPORT TO LONDON



HEATHROW EXPRESS:
The fastest link between Heathrow and central London. Non-stop trains run to Paddington every 15 minutes, and journey time is 15 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3 ( a few minutes more from terminals 4 or 5)
PRICE
Tickets purchased online, at the station, a ticket machine
25 £ single fare if travelling during peak times (7am-10am or 4pm-7pm, Monday to Friday)
22 £ single fare if travelling during off-peak times.
Returns are £37 throughout the day.
Children aged 15 years and under travel free when accompanied by a paying adult



HEATHROW CONNCET
Stopping trains runs to Paddington via local stations in west London every 30 minutes. Journey time is 31 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3.
Tickets must be purchased from the ticket office or online for journey beginning or ending at Paddington.

# Hayes & Harlington: £6.30
# Southall: £ 6.90
# Hanwell: £6.90
# West Ealing: £8
# Ealing Broadway: £8
# London Paddington: £ 10.30
Children between 5 to 15 have a children fare.
Buy your tickets before boarding, as a penalty fare zone operates.
Where to catch trains
Heathrow Connect trains stop at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 and 4. Passengers travelling to Terminal 5 should change at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 for the free transfer train (four trains per hour, journey time 6 minutes)      


LONDON UNDERGROUND
The most cost-effective rail route to London. Piccadilly Line trains run from all terminals and Journey time is 50-60 minutes.
Heathrow has three London Underground stations-one for Terminals 2 and 3 and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 station is between the terminals which are a few minutes walk away via pedestrian subway. Heathrow Terminal 4 and Heathrow Terminal 5 underground stations are in the basements of the terminal buildings.
All stations are in Travelcard Zone 6.
Underground tickets are available in all stations.
The single cash fare to central London (Zone 1) is £6.00.
Oyster pay-as-you-go fares are £5.10 (Mon-Fri, 6.30-9.30) and £3.10 (all other times)



NATIONAL EXPRESS COACH
Coach run throughout the day, from £10, offering journey times of 40-80 minutes to Victoria Coach Station (and many other destinations)


London taxis are available outside each terminal. The cost to central London is £45- £70 and the journey time is approximately one hour. Or, book a minicab or chauffeur in advance.
