Su  nido consiste en una plataforma poca profunda hecha con tallos de juncos.
Its nest consists of a shallow  platform made with reed stems.

Ponen 3 huevos de color oliva.
It put 3 olive color eggs.

En Uruguay se reproducen entre los meses de Enero y Febrero.
In Uruguay they reproduce between the months of January and February.

Ambos parientes alimentan a los polluelos.

Los polluelos se quedan cerca del nido hasta que pueden volar.
