Es un ave rapaz pequeña, que le gusta poosarse en lugares visibles como postes.

Se domestica para las actividades de cetreria ( para caza de otros animales)

Algunas veces caza en grupos, junto a los juveniles de su grupo familiar.
Sometimes it hunts in groups, together with the juveniles of its family group.
Cuando caza lo hace desde las alturas de un poste y se lanza hacia su preza
When it hunts, it does from the heights of a pole and launches itself towards of prey.
Se mantiene suspendido en el aire durante el vuelo mientras caza pequeñas presas entre los pastos.
