En Uruguay el primer avistamiento ocurrio el dia 10 de mayo del 2008, en el parque que hera de la Facultad de Veterinaria en la ciudad de Montevideo.

EL CHAJA, SOUTHERN SCREAMER, CABUITABU, YAJA, GRITON CHAJA, CHAJA MONUDO, TRIA, (CHAUNA TORQUATA)

Crsted screamer establish monogamous relationships that last several years or possible for the pair's lifetime.

 El chaja establece una relacion monogama que dura por muchos anos y posiblemente de por vida.

The harsh loud vocalization of these birds can be heard from miles away.
 El fuerte sonido de la vocalizacion de estas aves puede ser escuchada a millas de distancias.

 The spurs protruding from their wings are made of bone and used for defense.
La pua que sale de sus alas son hechas de hueso y son usadas como defensa.

PARADOR TAJES DEPARTAMENTO DE CANELONES

El Parador Tajes le debe su nombre a que esta era la casa de verano del General Maximo Tajes, presidente de Uruguay (1886-1990)
